Getting There
Vallisaari can be reached by JT-Line water bus. Please remember to purchase your ferry ticket in advance.
The ferry journey from Helsinki Market Square takes approximately 20 minutes.
In Vallisaari, the ferry arrives at Luotsipiha Pier on the southern side of the island. From there, Ice Cream Café Paja is about a 10-minute walk away. The return ferry to the mainland departs from Torpedo Bay Pier, approximately 200 metres from the venue.
You can also arrive by your own boat. Day visits cost €10 and overnight stays €29.
Accessibility
Please note that Vallisaari is not fully accessible. The island's paths are gravel-covered and uneven terrain cannot be completely avoided. The landscape is mostly hilly and can be challenging to navigate. Visitors using wheelchairs are advised to bring an assistant.
