VALLISAARI PRIVATE SAUNA RESERVATIONS FOR 2024 / BOOKING PERIOD 1.6.-1.9.24
Wood-fired self-service sauna on the south-eastern shore of Vallisaari. The sauna can be booked from 1 June to 19 June and from 18 August to 1 September from Tuesday to Thursday and on Sundays from 16.00 to 19.00. In addition, from 20.6. to 17.8. on Friday and Saturday from 14.30 to 17.30 and from 18.00 to 21.00. The duration of the sauna shift is three hours and the price is 250 e/3h. The sauna is closed on Mondays. If you are not travelling by boat, please note the Vallisaari waterbus timetable when making your reservations. https://www.frs-finland.fi/vallisaari/. You can get the keys and instructions from the Torpedalahti Harbour Café, spend a whole day on Vallisaari and end it with the warmth of the wood-fired sauna.
There is a terrace in front of the sauna and you can swim along the private dock. The sauna can accommodate up to 10 people. You heat the sauna and the water in the hot tub yourself during the booking period. The sauna is equipped with a separate sauna and washroom, a small dressing room and a terrace with a table and benches. Wood-burning stove and separate hot water bath. The sauna has electricity (sockets and lighting). The firewood store has firewood ready for use. Barbecue facilities are not available in the sauna, you can bring your own drinks. There is a water toilet about 150 m from the sauna. The sauna and the toilet building are not accessible. Other services. You can use your own boat or a private transfer to the island.The island is operated by FRS Finland Oy, and you can also order a private transfer through us. Please note that the departure time of the last service back to the mainland varies. During the summer, visitors are also served by Vallisaari's extensive restaurant facilities.
Terms and conditions of use
1 BOOKING AND USE OF THE SAUNA
The person making the reservation must be of legal age (18 years or older). The sauna may only be used for the purpose specified in the description. The customer is obliged to provide the information requested on the form in the reservation system before paying for the reservation. The sauna starts and ends at the times indicated in the booking system and on the booking confirmation. The customer is responsible for arranging his own transport to and from the destination. At the end of the session, the premises must be cleaned and emptied of the client's belongings. The booking is subject to separate payment and cancellation conditions.
2 MANAGEMENT OF THE SAUNA ROOM AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER
The reservation includes free use of the sauna. The customer is responsible for the sauna room until the end of the reservation. When leaving the sauna, the customer must ensure that the doors and windows are closed and that there is no risk of fire from the heater. The customer must take food, empty bottles and cans with them or recycle them at the waste disposal point. If the client loses the key, the cost of resetting the locks will be charged to the client.
3 DAMAGE, DEFECTS AND COMPLAINTS
The customer must immediately report any damage to the furniture or structure of the sauna. All complaints concerning the equipment and condition of the sauna must be addressed to the service provider without delay. The service provider shall not be obliged to make any compensation for any complaint made after the event. The customer shall be liable for any damage caused to the sauna and its furnishings if such damage is caused intentionally or as a result of negligence. Repairs or cleaning will be invoiced ex post at the actual cost.
4 SMOKING AND PETS
Smoking indoors is prohibited. Pets are not allowed.
5 DISCHARGE RESERVE
The service provider is not responsible for any items left in the sauna or public areas. Lost property will be treated as an institutional find in accordance with the Lost Property Act and will be kept on site until the end of the season. The cost of returning found objects is the responsibility of the customer.
6 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
The service provider is not liable for consequential damage caused by cancellation or interruption of a sauna session. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any error or delay caused by force majeure. Disputes concerning this agreement shall be settled primarily by negotiation between the parties. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the matter shall be settled by the Helsinki District Court. The consumer-customer may also refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board. The contract is governed by Finnish law.
7 CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
The reservation is payable in full in advance at the time of booking. The prices indicated in the service include value added tax. Any additional services are not included in the price.
Cancellation is free of charge three weeks (21 days) before the start of the booking. Later cancellations will be charged in full.
