The tower transformer, built around 1930, rises to a height of eight meters on the rocky shore of Kuninkaansaari Island's Sand Cove. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the sea and the surrounding nature.

The building was decommissioned in 1990 and renovated for accommodation during 2019 and 2020.

The Transformer is located in Kuninkaansaari Island's Sand Cove, where guests also have their own beach, swimming pier and rowing boat. The walk from Vallisaari, where the Torpedo Bay guest marina and the nearest pier for water bus traffic are located, takes about 20 minutes. You cannot get to Kuninkaansaari Island directly by your own boat. Access to Kuninkaansaari takes place on foot. along the embankment from Vallisaari. The Transformer has beds for a total of four people.

Kuninkaansaari Island's wood heated sauna is located in the immediate vicinity of the Transformer, and guests can book a sauna for an additional fee during their stay. A rowing boat with equipment is freely available throughout the stay.
